Changelog

Every release, dated. If you opened the Subby changelog to check whether the app is still maintained, the dates answer that better than we could. The current version is 2.0.0, from August 2026.

2.0.0 CURRENT

The full rewrite.

  • We rebuilt Subby from scratch on one shared codebase, and this release is also the first one for iPhone. It is live on the App Store.
  • New reminder engine. It keeps reminding you for up to a week when a payment stays unpaid, groups 3+ due reminders into one summary, and survives reboots, updates and time changes. On iOS it schedules reminders 35 days ahead.
  • The design is new, with a true-black dark theme (System / Light / Dark).
  • AI screenshot import (PRO). Snap a bill, an email or a store page, and Subby fills in the price, cycle and date for you to confirm.
  • Home-screen widgets on Android and iOS (PRO), with theme and content options, and mark-as-paid from the widget.
  • 46 currencies with up-to-date exchange rates, and 31 languages. Cloud auto-backup to your own Drive or iCloud (PRO) keeps the last three weekly backups.

Publication dates from Google Play, newest first. The 1.x line ran for eight years before the 2.0.0 rewrite.
