Subby went up on Google Play in December 2017 with one idea: a subscription tracker that doesn't need your bank. Eight years on it's still that. In 2026 we rebuilt it from scratch and put it on iPhone.
No investors, no data business. Ads cover the cost of the free app. PRO is one payment because we don't think a subscription manager should be a subscription, and it pays for what we build next. When a PRO member requests a missing logo, we add it for the whole community.
Who makes Subby
Pocket Implementation S.R.L. is a small independent studio in Bucharest, Romania. We have shipped every version of Subby since 2017, so if something in the app annoys you, one of us wrote it.

Milestones
Subby launches on Google Play with a simple list, reminders and no bank login.
The 1.x years: 600+ brand logos, insights, payments log, widgets, backup. We kept getting reminder reliability wrong.
2.0.0 arrives: one shared codebase, a rebuilt reminder engine, true-black dark mode, and Subby's first iOS release (now on the App Store). The changelog continues from here.
About that Play Store rating
Our lifetime Play average is 3.8 stars across nine years, and that includes a period when reminders broke on old versions. We'd rather explain the number than hide it. 2.0.0 shipped in August 2026 as a full rewrite, so judge Subby on the 2026 reviews.
